The recent spell of winter weather here in Leeds has set us to thinking about Portugal and the warm sunshine we basked in during our recent Christmas visit.

We looked very carefully at our finances.............
We scrutinised our lifestyle..........
We measured our aspirations.
The following day I handed in one months notice and come March we are moving over to Santa Luzia
We hope to see many of you there over the coming months and years.

Stewart - very interesting blog. My wife and I are in SL again since our first visit ten years ago. We are here for three weeks this time as I've recently (semi)retired. It was pouring with rain and blowing a gale when we arrived at 10.30am, but enjoyed a leisurely stroll and shop later this afternoon, with a blustery beer on the promenade! Will keep an eye on your updates. Roger.
